Dear Friends and Supporters:
I want to thank all of you who helped us in our Ward 4 Special Election campaign. While we came up a few votes short of victory, I am honored to have been your candidate.
I got into this race because I wanted us all to have a voice, not just the wealthy and politically connected. And I wanted to make real change so all of Ward 4 will have the opportunity to prosper! Together, we took that message to the voters. We called them; we mailed them; we knocked on their doors; we answered their questions at the forums; and then we called them some more. On Election Day, dozens of volunteers stood on their feet all day to take a stand for the voiceless.
We left no stone unturned in our quest to make a positive difference for the people of Ward 4 and our great city. We were focused, we were relentless, and we are still unbought!
My dedication and service to our community will not stop here. I will continue to be an advocate for the people, and I will continue our fight to make sure everyone has a chance to be better and do better.
I am forever grateful for all you did to help me, and I will never forget how far we came together.
